I'd get a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5(global version) for £160-200 instead. It doesn't have NFC but otherwise is not much different.0

What phone is best?
I can't comment on the A8, but having owned the S7 for the past two years I would highly recommend it.
It's the first device I've owned for a full contract term and not got bored of. It's still going strong and if it wasn't for me being a techie and wanting to get the new S9 next month, I would be more than happy to stick with it!0
