Ok....in the unlikely event that this happens, do I have a leg to stand on if they take me to court?
Also, will any bailiffs actually come to my home or just threat letters?
Apologies for all the questions, but I just do not want any unnecessary bother for my family if any of the above happens.0 -
Yes you stand a very good chance in court. Post #38 addresses baliffs.0

Again, thank you all very much0

Why not simply search:
Euro POPLA lost
...and read the other threads the same as yours. I am surprised you seem to think that everyone wins. In fact, ECP sometimes win at POPLA, but they don't sue, so who cares?
Sit tight. Please do that search of the forum, it saves our fingers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,
just thought I would update my thread. I have received 3 DRP Ltd letters over the past couple of months threatening me with legal action if I don't pay £160 for the PCP issued to the driver.
The most recent letter I received today was titled as "Final Settlement Offer To avoid Court Action"
The letter stipulates " As you didn't pay what you owe, we recommended to our client that they appoint a solicitor to start court action against you............................................As part of this, our client has previously told us that, if you want to settle this matter once and for all, they're willing to accept £160 instead of the full amount of £160"
I was a bit confused by the last part i.e. was it a typo error lol?
Either way, just wanted to double check I still ignore at this stage?
Thanks0 -
Keep ignoring.
Have you seen your chances of going to court?...

Hi All,
I had already been rejected from the first appeal before I came to read all the Newbie thread. I have now waited to appeal to the POPLA and have a week or so left.
the various signs that are in the car park make it confusing and I wondered if that would be a valid reason for appeal to the POPLA.
I have a further picture ( Need to take another as the sun has caught some of it) that shows 4 different signs and one that says
"Free Parking
After 4:30pm
Monday to Friday"
A security notice saying that it is Managed by Savills UK
So does this mean that ECP are enforcing on behalf of Savills UK ?
if someone googles Gosforth Euro Car Parking sign then it should show up but cannot post link as new member.
Is it possible to show this picture on the forum somehow ?0 -
Yes if you start your own new thread, and not add a reply to someone else's.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
