another swiftcover COMPLAINT/help needed

i renewed my insurance with privelege having previously been with swiftcover and privelege sent me a letter requesting proof of ncd.

they said they need a hard copy from swiftcover.

i have rang swiftcover twice now but have not received yet.(been 3 weeks now since i first rang).

what should i do if privelege threaten to remove my ncd?

why are swiftcover so useless:mad: ?

any help would be great as it is very frustrating and don't know what to do now:o

If you can find your policy and/or renewal docs from Swiftcover there should be reference to your NCD on these.

Alternative - ask Priv to talk to Swift.......

    thanks for the input:beer:

but privelege have told me they need documents from swift, not what i print out at home, which paradoxically is how you get your insurance docs from swift.

where do i stand on what rights i have on this as neither company are being helpful:mad:

It's good to have these forums back.

I think all you can do is keep calling Swift - perhaps a note in hard copy to the Board?

    thanks

i know i will never use swiftcover again and reading some of the other feedback i reckon other people won't either.

it is not worth the hassle for incompetence.

i have rang them 3 times now.

am going to send them a letter tomorrow.

anyone else know how i stand if privelege cancel my ncb?

thanks in advance for any help on this as i am getting nowhere.

I can honestly say i've never had a problem with swiftcover. In fact when insuring two cars at once for the period where i bought one and sold the other they were very very helpful and prompt in refunding me the difference in premiums.

Perhaps test the water with someone other than Priv - tell them the only proof you have is Internet prints - should be good enough?

    Hi GPS

Can you tell me what the outcome was ?

I'm in the same boat now. Moved from swiftcover to LLoyds recently.
Lloyds are refusing to accept my renewal emails from swiftcover as proof of NCD. They want a hard copy, which Swiftcover don't supply !

Anyone know of an insurance company which will accept a swiftcover renewal email ?

    TIA
    Horizon
