I am just about to upgrade my DS (years too late, I have the old DS!) Is it better to get the DS XL or the 3D DS? I keep hearing different stories and now I am confused. Thanks

Anyone know of any good deals on ds lites, i need to replace mine and i prefer the lite compare to the newer ones.

Try somewhere like Gamestation or any other games stores. You may be able to get a pre-owned one for very little if you're lucky.

Hi, I am looking into the Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL for my sons for Christmas.

What games are compatible with these consoles? are they specific for each on it's own so going to cost a fortune alone?

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which would be better value for money?

Also, long shot I know, but looking to buy from Agros on my store card but does anyone know when they are doing the voucher offer when you spend so much and get vouchers back, and whether this offer still stands when paying on your store card?

My 8 year old had a 3ds for his birthday and I managed to get it from Tesco for just under £130 with a game but this was back in March. I would keep looking out for offers as I bet there will be some before the Christmas rush.

As for the games all the original games will work on both the 3ds and xl but 3d games ONLY work on a 3ds. I would have preferred an xl for my son but they were close to the £200 mark and I was not prepared to pay that much.

Just to point out the XL doesn't come with a mains charger.
