£119 currently best 3ds price...

better to pay the extra £5 (or risk waiting for a reducion) than buy older version imo

I paid £105 for my 3DS at tesco, they were £115 but used £10 off voucher, this was in August, but I still think that's very expensive for a DSi especially if it is second-hand, I sold my DSi for £65 to give you an idea of secondhand cost, so all in all the 3DS only cost me £40 cash.
Have you shopped around, I would definitely go for the £119 3DS over a £115 DSi.

I was told the nintendo are no longer producing games for the DS all new games will be released on 3DS only, so better to upgrade now for £5, otherwise you'll end up paying twice.

My very lucky daughter has recieved some unexpected christmas money, she wanted a ds3 for christmas but I haven't got her one because a)shes got a perfectly good dsi, and b) It would have been all of her christmas present budget on one thing.

But she has asked if she could trade her dsi and pay the extra.
Can anyone give me a rough idea how much extra it would cost (I haven't said yes or no yet until I know if she's got enough) and where would we get the best deal?

well i know of no trade in deals anywhere but i havent looked to be honest but your best bet would be to sell it on ebay or amazon or locally to be honest as even as a trade in they wouldnt give you anywhere near enough as you would get selling it privitly have a look on ebay as a rough guide and also gumtree do your research 1st and just the 3ds console can be brought for about £120 or with a game £150 again google is your friend if you look around if deffintly pays in the end!!
