Really cross with Amazon after I investigated today and ordered some e vouchers I have earned that by the time I went back to order the metallic blue for DD the price had gone from £114.99 to £133.99!!!!!

Hi everyone

Santa may have to give in to a Nintendo DS this year for our two sons, aged 6.5 and almost 5. I can't say I'm wildly enamoured but everyone at school has them so he's feeling a bit harsh...

Was thinking of getting 2 x Nintendo DSi XL

One blue, one red.

First question is, can you get the red one without it being part of the limited edition boxset which comes with some game(s) or other or is that the only one?

Second question... what games would you recommend for boys this age? I'd rather them have something that's educational (don't mind fun as well!).

Finally, will all Nintendo DS games work in a Nintendo DSi XL..?

altytc, Sainsbury's are doing 25% off all their Nintendo consoles at the moment.

There are loads of games out there for younger age groups, DD is older so we usually check out gamespot for reviews before we buy...

I'm wanting to get a DS Lite but it seems that most places are stopping supplying them now, and brand new, your still talking around the £90 mark

surely there should be some special offers on somewhere ... jeez its nearly a few years old now the DS Lite
