The Hut have the DSi for £99.93, There's also renchi in korea selling it for £92.75. But if you would like a DS lite there's a shop on ebay - zhy-shop2009auchans selling it for £84.63 or they have another for £76.44 in blue with games and free p&p. (item no 250663172382).

    I hope this helps.

It comes from Hong Kong so there will be import duty and royal mail's handling charge to add to it. Better to buy in the UK?

hi there can anyone tell me the best deal available on the high street as want to buy one before we go on holiday on sunday. best price is pixmania but can't guarantee delivery. either console on its own or package. Want new rather than pre-owned - went into game but son didn't fancy any of the games in the bundles as he's 14 and they were all too young. thanks for any help.
  • I know your looking for new and I think the best price is around £80 from toys r us. I just bought my son a preowned one from blockbuster for £49. I had previously bought an original ds fat from blockbuster 2 weeks ago for £29.00.
There was no stock in my local store Swindon but they are able to switch stock from other stores. Also comes with 1 month unlimited games rentals (for any system).

As of friday 13 august blockbuster has stopped the £49.99 price. I had ordered one a week before to be transferred to the swindon store but when it came in on saturday they initially wanted to charge me £69.99. Fortunately the manager of this store is brilliant and agreed to honour the 49.99 price on this one occassion. Looks like this was just a sale promotion.

We are looking at getting one for our son for Christmas and the wife wants to get it now, however by doing that we are effectively giving up 25% of the warranty if it is just sitting about till then...

I'm also convinced the price will come down nearer then, but will she listen... ;)

  • I'm getting my dd one for christmas and will be buying it this week. Last year the prices seemed to rocket nearer christmas. Game are doing a package of either the black or white one with 3 pokemon games for £114.99 so we have one reserved. :D
