I strongly suggest that before buying ANY Moto/Lenovo phone people do a Google or similar search for the model their looking at and the word problems.


The Lenovo forums contain a lot of useful information and reasons to look at other brands...

I would say if you do that for ANY brand, the results will be the same. If people are looking for a 'perfect' brand, then none of us would ever own a mobile phone.

Some brands have more problems than others, I accept nothing is perfect, however forewarned is forearmed...

Totally agree. Go to manufacturers own dedicated community forums and you'll see a wealth of issues with their products, it's the very nature of online forums, simple as that.

The problem with any search, be it of Google or the manufacturer's forum, is that you need a certain level of knowledge to verify the results.

You need to be able to discriminate between actual fault and user error, people getting the wrong end of the stick and just plain trolling.
