Equiniti Shareview Lost share certificate

1 I cannot find my paper share certificate and I need to sell my GKN shares which are registered with shareview equiniti.
2 I have rang shareview last Friday and told them about lost share certificate and understand I will have to pay £77 for new paper certificate and £45 fee to sell shares, my shares are worth about £1100 this week.
3 They say they will send me a form to fill out I think its a Corporate Sponsored Nominee form then I sign and send it back to them.
4 I have been waiting 7 days for the form not to arrive so rang back yesterday and they say give it until Wednesday to arrive so thats 12 days for a letter to arrive in post.
5 When I asked them can I pay £77 by debit card or internet banking and they said " no our system is down this week so you have to pay by cheque "
6 Has anyone else had problems or delays with Equiniti Shareview.

Once you get your replacement share certificate you don!!!8217;t have to sell through equiniti - they are expensive.
