Goods finally arrived ... after 3 months!

I'd like to think so, except that it's not the only thing that's been sent to me that was returned to the sender marked "Addressee gone away". I had two of my bank accounts frozen because bank statements or cards were returned like this, and some other things too. I had to make two complaints before it stopped happening, and I still don't know what the hell was going on. It's not as if we have a dog that bit the postman and p--d him off or anything ... and not everything got returned either, I was still receiving letters and packages throughout this whole period. It's almost as if someone in the sorting office was randomly picking out a couple of my items a day and sending them back!

And I still don't quite understand what happened to this item - after getting red-labelled it seems to have then spent 4 weeks making its way to France, whereupon presumably it was then sent back to England again - taking another 10 weeks to do so!

At least it got here, but I have to say I am kind of suspicious about my post now and never quite sure whether I am getting everything that I should be.

returned mail is treated as low importance over 'live' mail.
sounds like you have an issue with a covering postman rather than your full time postman.
