What are the next steps, I was looking online and heard about a pre tenancy assessment? what does this involve, like credit checks etc,.Sorry for all the questions.

If your 1st and eligible you will usually be contacted within a week or so.
Pre tenancy assessment will include a full affordability check - income and expenditure. You declaring and criminal records, rent arrears or evictions- them looking into these.
Will also detail all occupants to reside in the property. You are likely to need to show bank statements for checking and you may need to have a home visit to assess condition of your current property.
They will let you know what they require.
They have a video on their website specifically about their pre tenancy assessment http://www.sovereign.org.uk/looking-for-a-home/renting-a-home/0
