Any one got any feedback yet? Very interested to know what the day was like. Was there much hanging around and is the lunchbox nice!

Just got back from my day of testing. There were a lot of people around to show you what to do etc. The station will be lovely but I can't believe it will open in 2 weeks time. Our first train left 30 minutes late and went about 1000 yards to the London tunnel. Second and third trains left on time but again went to the tunnel, so about 5 mins there, 5 mins waiting on train and 5 mins back.

When we arrived there was tea, coffee, water and mini croisants. The lunch pack had either egg or chicken sandwiches, hula hoops, a bar of galaxy and a banana.

There is a lot of waiting around so take a paper or book to read, we walked 5 minutes up the Euston Road to see the British Library which has a copy of the Magna Carta and original lyrics scribbled on bits of paper by the Beatles. Lots of other things there too and it was quite interesting.

There were a lot of things not working and not finished especially the travelators but it is going to be good. I think people who are going later will get longer journeys to Stratford or Ebbsfleet. They said the line had problems at the moment.

Just back - everything went off very well. I like everyone else had three tickets. Although I booked for 9.30 my first train was not until 10.25. Some people booked 8.30 and their train too was 10.25 so please do not go too early as there is really nowhere to sit until you have passed through Passport Control. They start letting you through an hour before your departure. Coffee,tea and coissants on offer first thing and a packed lunch. Egg or Chicken sandwich,chocolate and banana. Once aboard, the train barely left the station ( top of York Road - for those knowing Kings Cross area) - waited about 15 minutes and then reversed back into the Platform.

All in all an okay day - chatted to some nice people but did not see anyone baring the Martin Lewis home page sheet !!!!!

Can anyone that tested yesterday or today tell me how long it lasted for? I'm going tomorrow with my bf but he has flight to catch around 6ish I think?

Went today and it was a lot of fun. Brought some work to do so didn't get bored.

If you have First Class seats, don't forget to pick-up a few free French fashion magazines!! I love those! They also have French, English and Flemish newspapers as well.

I look forward to traveling to Paris for real very soon!
