Lifetime ISA and Help to Buy process

Hi, I'm looking for some help buying my first home.

I have a lifetime ISA which I can't access until August 30th. There are some houses being built near me that I am quite keen to put a reserve down on due to there being some that are already reserved and I don't want to miss out. Can I put a reserve down even though I can't get to my deposit until Aug 30th? I'm also wanting to use the Help to Buy equity loan to help. Is this affected by any of this?

I'm thinking, if the whole process takes a while anyway by the time it is going through August 30th may have come by then and I will be okay hopefully
Any help in the process, what I need or what I need to do would be great.

Emma

You need to read carefully how each scheme works. The infomation is available on the government website.

For example: There is no access to the full amount of the ISA on maturity, only the amount you paid in, the government part is paid to the solicitor as part of the deposit when required.
