Advert? On youtube, how quaint you don't block those. Or indeed think it is the same one for everyone.

Anyway. Rant. This video is 100% everything wrong with the internet today. A video is inefficient for disparting information. Waffle Waffle Waffle. Can we get back to nice web pages with pictures please. Was wanting to kill myself to make it stop before two minutes were up. Thankfully I reallised there was a close tab button.
Self indulgent, unhelpful and rude. How quaint that you consider yourself so important.

Ignore the really unhelpful one on here, what I would do is remove the grey pipework off of the two wastes (plug holes) & throw it away down to the elbow that goes through the back, buy 2x 40mm spigot traps & attach them to the wastes, attach the w/m & dishwasher to each of the spigots, you also need one tee & a few elbows & some 40mm waste pipe, you will also need to find something where the overflows should go (or buy two new baskets wastes without overflows)
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

Not surprised it's a bit smelly - there's lots of loops where stale waste water can get trapped, which shouldn't really be there.

Normally there should be water in the trap (the S section of white pipework at the back), with the rest of the pipework angled with a fall to drain any water into the trap.

The over-flow pipework should be straight down from the over-flow into the waste, that unnecessary loop below the other waste pipe will allow water to pool in the loop, with no way to flush it out, making the waste and the overflow smell.

Also - the drain pipes from the washing machine and dishwasher, where they connect to the sink waste, should be falling (i.e. pipes starting at a higher point, dropping down to the connections, normally they would be clipped up close to the under-side of the sink, to give that fall down to the waste). This ensures that any waste water from the sink cannot flow back into them, and drain into your appliances, creating further smells.

The rest of the plumbing isn't that neat and ideally you'd replace it all, but if that's not possible, I'd start by fixing the over-flow (to remove the loop) and see what you can do with the dishwasher and washing machine waste pipes - see if you hook them up, to get a fall into the waste.

you can buy a bag of undersink fittings from b and q link

I would scrap everything you have and tidy up the copper pipes as well.

Thanks everyone. I’m not confident with this, so wouldn’t touch the copper pipes. It all seems to be a bit of a mess, so might see if I can get a local plumber to tidy it up.

Scap it and start again, try to reduce the number of connections and hoses etc.
