    Morning All
Just popping on with a small loss -2lb
Well I've lost just over 2 1/2 stone this year and I see absolutely no difference! I know it's gone from somewhere I just can't work out from where my clothes feel the same and my face is the same. I'm still pleased to have got this far and still have a long way to go, but finally feeling optimistic that I'll get there eventually.

B muesli (hexb) nat yog, banana, raspberry
    L salad, chicken, fruit
    D jacket, beans cheese (hexa)
S cereal bar (3.5) probably yog and meringues (2)

I cuddled have a largish piece of dds banana cake yesterday but was my only syn, not sure how to work out home made cake so went for 10.

Not sure why you think that is a helpful contribution?

Slimming World is a calorie counted plan, something I've mentioned a few times in this thread. Without repeating the obvious though, the most simple science behind Slimming World is based on certain (preferably low calorie) foods 'filling you up' for longer. Crisps and yoghurt may share similar calorific content, but I suspect the yoghurt would satisfy your hunger for longer, hence they're free or low syn. You called the poster out about eating yoghurt, you now have the reason it is free/low syn compared to a bag of crisps. Quark is a fat free cheese and is (if you look at an ordinary tub) actually more calories than you might expect, however it is free because it's protein content is very high therefore it keeps you satisfied for longer and is a healthy source of protein..... something a bag of Walkers salt and vee isn't. I would suspect you agree?

If you want to dispute the science behind SW, I suggest starting another thread rather than belittling people. You may or may not have a valid point, but none of your contributions in this thread have been particularly helpful.

    Yes you're right.

    When I choose to follow the plan I lose weight....when I don't I don't.

Now run along and go and wind someone else up.

I know ...however the phrase 'the poster does protest too much' springs to mind so I'm wondering if they secretly follow SW and want to be part of our gang bit are too shy to ask

To change the subject.....and to introduce a little light hearted humour!

I have just weighed myself before and after a mammoth wee............ I had been driving 2 hours and was desperate for 1.5 hours of this journey.......... can you guest what the difference was?? aka how much the wee weighed!
