Manufacturer v's British Gas Breakdown Cover

We have just had a reminder from the manufacturer (Vaillant) that our boiler guarantee expires next month.
They gave us an extended warranty quote for breakdown cover for either their 1 star cover £107.88 a year which covers breakdowns etc or 3 star cover £185.88 a year which also includes a service to the boiler.
I've seen the adverts for British Gas who provide similar services, had a look on website and prices seem similar.
So would it be best to stay with the manufacturer or change to British Gas.
