I just had a phone call on my landline. It was an automated voice saying my internet connection would be disconnected within 24 hours because the line had been compromised across several countries (can’t remember the exact words), and said to press 1 to speak to a technician. I just hung up as I presume this is a scam? Has anyone had this call? Any advice? Thanks.

Had a rash of these ~ 2 weeks ago; on one call I actually spoke to "Andy" who claimed he was from the BT Technical department - I replied "that's funny, so am I!" - Instant hang up!!:rotfl:0
