I'm using ewise too. They sent me an email inviting me to download and install Account Unity, which I did, but it failed to install as I'm on Windows 7, and it requires Windows 10. Another nail in the coffin then...0

I'm not sure I know the difference between the two. I thought Account Unity was just the name given to the utility created by eWise the company?A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
As far as I understand it, eWise is the software that First Direct Internet Banking Plus (and the former Egg Money Manager) are based on, which uses Active X to download the digital safe. This only runs on Internet Explorer. Account Unity is the latest version, which is designed to run on other browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Edge &c. and does not use Active X. It only works on 64 bit machines (not 32 bit) and requires Windows 10. The original eWise programme (not Account Unity) is expected to run for a few months more after Windows 7 reaches end of support on 14th January next year.0

The utility from eWise that I use is called AccountUnity. It does require Active X, and only works on Internet Explorer. If you try to download it in another browser it gives you an error message. I only downloaded it again a few months ago, and I am using Windows 10. There wasn't any other option then, and I haven't been able to find any other version of the software available today. Do you have information about a new version? I think we'd all like to grab it if it exists. :-)A penny saved is a penny gained1 -

This could be good.
I have added one bank so far - takes quite a bit of time to do that, but seems worth it. All my accounts with that bank displayed, and what's best, I can actually log into the account with a single click, without entering further login credentials! Brilliant, just like what we used to have.
I have some reservations, such as that it seems very slow, and although there is a large list of supported providers, some important ones are missing (e.g. Virgin Money current account). I am also not sure whether I like the user interface - it looks pretty but it wastes a lot of screen acreage. Still, I will add some more accounts and give it a good run before I give a final verdict.
Many thanks for the heads up, @ian_h1
