I see you posted these here as well so i will put what i said on the other thread:
You have completely missed the point. My gripe was towards the company and its 'couldn't care less attitude'. Not the fact the car was a misrepresentation (advertised as a 64 plate).
As for your comment relating to 'all that fuss'. Why are you getting involved. Do you work for this bunch of amateurs.0 -

At that point I would have politely (or otherwise) declined and walked.
Wise after the event, yes, but there must be other similar vehicles to view elsewhere.0
