Joint account with my name being the main holder.
Last time order to open 2 separate savers I had to pretend neither of us had on-line banking otherwise I would only be able to open 1 joint saver account.
Does anyone know if it is easier to do now?
Seemed such a daft idea the last time.

No. Still need to open one as an offline customer (as of early April). I didn't think it was that cumbersome TBH.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Thanks Cloud_dog,
with Santander we're joint account holders and can open their regular savers without pretending to be off-line customers.
So will still open other ones with Nationwide but was hoping they'd changed that way of opening.0 -
I'm thinking about opening a Reg Saver with Nationwide now that I applied for a current account with them. I was wondering if the £250/month had to be transferred from their current account, or can it be transferred from any account? (from another bank)0

Can be funded from another bank.
SallySunshine you can open online during inside your online banking this time as you use the maturing regular saver to fund the initial deposit therefore it will mimic your sole name. When the maturing account becomes a Flexsaver transfer the balance out leaving just the initial £250 and then when opening the new regular saver chose to fund from the Flexsaver and it gives you the option to close the account at the same time if you don't want to keep.0
