3.2. An Offer will be made by the Approved Vehicle Collector for your Vehicle once an on-site inspection of your Vehicle has been completed by the Approved Vehicle Collector. This is to make sure that the information you have provided us is correct. If we consider that the Value of your Vehicle is affected by any aspect which was not made clear to us when providing the Valuation, the price that is Offered will differ from the original Valuation.
3.3. The Acceptance of the Offer shall be confirmed once you have signed the Vehicle Collection Agreement provided by the Approved Vehicle Collector.
Neither of these t&c' s happened when dealing with them. First hand experience.
Was only responding to jonny 're facebook/social media. Agreed no need to be on social. Just a response/observation0 -
The number on the website is the number of the AVC. So they're saying we only provide a valuation but then the same person comes and collects the vehicle. Obviously they are pretending not to scrappers/salvagers but in reality they are0

What is your personal grievance with them? It's pretty obvious you have one so you may as well share it, otherwise you're just slating a business for the sake of it and no one is going to take notice.0

The reality is most likely what has already been said - they either take the worthwhile bits off and take the remains to a breakers or resell the car to a breakers / elsewhere.
Whats your issue with that? Unless you're telling us they actually break the cars in some field, and have them all lying there illegally and not dispose of fluids correctly, poisoning the land, etc. And if that is the case, then their local council are the ones to be informed.
But as has been asked, whats your actual beef with them? Clearly you have one?0 -
