Ok, it says to appeal by post. I read that it is better to appeal online, as there is no denying its arrival. I have found a contact email address and sent the email. Fingers crossed..

Thanks to all for your replies

Well, I suppose it might work.

Usually we say use the appeal method specified by the parking company.
There is a good possibility that they will ignore your email appeals and you really need your PoPLA codes.

You might be wise to send two separate appeals by post too - not using recorded delivery or any other service requiring a signature. Get a free Proof of Posting from the Post Office counter.

    NONONO.

The NEWBIES thread says appeal by email IF OFFERED AS AN OPTION ON THE PCN. You can't just root around for a random email address, if you do that you MISS the appeal window!

Email is not an option according to your PCN, obviously, so post it 1st class in the morning as well. One envelope will do, with two appeal letters in it, one headed up with one PCN ref and one with the other.

Obviously set out like a formal letter, you know (sorry if stating the blinking obvious but it's astonishing how many posters have no idea what a letter is): address top right, date, headings, Dear Sir at the start, 'yours faithfully' at the end, and signed by you and your name given underneath.

Take the envelope to the local PO Counter and ask for a free 'certificate of posting' (NOT SIGNED FOR, NOT RECORDED).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oh ok. Yeah, I think I’m getting lost in the vast amounts of info on these pages.. So, sorry again for repeating anything that has been written.. Ok, so I emailed, as I said, and I got a reply WITH a POPLA reference. I must have got lucky. I would have sent the letter (still would if you think it’s required) in the morning..

No need if you got a POPLA code already (shows how long they 'considered' it for!).

Now go to the NEWBIES thread post #3 where the POPLA template points are. No rush, because you want to get past day 56, if this was only a windscreen PCN.

I knew I had another question to ask; the two tickets that I received were not on the same day, they were about a week apart. Keith and Coupon, you mentioned sending both appeals together, but I hadn!!!8217;t made it clear that they were from separate days. Does this make a difference? Or should I wait until the 26th day with the second ticket too?

    Thank you in advance

Wait till day 26 for the second one as well, because you need to string it out so that no NTKs are issued by the time you submit the POPLA appeals at/after day 56 from the parking event.
