  • Hi all, just popping by to see how you all are? I Have been visiting my dad as he is awaiting a cancer op. Sad to see some of us have problems. I hope that ill health and worries clear for everyone soon.

I cannot offer much advice to Mike other than do what feels right. Life has ups and downs and we all have to make the journey the best we can...but we may as well smile on the way.

I have had an exceptional money making month (which counter acts some of the health issues going on around me). All my shifts on my zero hours job (which darned near wrote me off in the process) came in today at just over £810. Also the PPI stuff finally cleared and a few amounts from quidco and cashback / loyalty points has seen me hit a wonderful May total of £5912.86 ... :T:T:T Needless to say I now have zero balances on all three credit cards (FINALLY) and a small 4 figure chunk in a savings pot. Both children and my husband have had a treat. I decided on a mountain bike (cheaper than the gym long term and will save some cash on fuel) ...

Next I tackle the eBay heap and sell more books online...
two bank loans are next in my sights to clear... then the mortgage!

I am almost at enough points to cash out my first receipt hog £5...that should start June off nicely. :j

To everyone needing a hug I send them. I hope to see you all in June forum. Good luck on the final totals and with life in general. xx

Milly-Ann-Molly, you truly amaze me:eek:. What a fabulous result:dance:. I thought I was having an brilliant month but it's nothing compared to yours. I bow down in awe:T:j:beer:

Thanks :j It has definitely taken a weight off! I need to be more careful in future with our spending patterns. Life lessons learnt...again :o

I hope that more PPI filters in...this one was unexpected as Lloyds had written to me in the past and said we had none on our products...luckily the claims company found it... worth every penny

I just realised that our mortgage is up for fixed term so I am looking into switching now... fingers crossed it goes well, although i am not really sure what I am doing!

Well done to cbc, Milly and Mike on your totals despite everything you all have going on.
    :T:T:T

My early morning ended up being an early afternoon as I fell back to sleep and didn’t wake up till 12.30 :rotfl: Does this count as ‘me time’ cbc?

Been rushing about since I got up though and just made another drink and sat down to catch up on here.

Well done on your Ebay listing cbc. I’m not sure if I had an email or not as I get so many but not going to get round to it anyway. Will check back later to see how everyone is doing

Certainly does;). I hope you feel better for it:T

I'm declaring my total for May at £1230.95:j. I don't expect anything else will trickle in now:rotfl:. I did receive an unexpected cheque today though for undue charges on one of my old credit cards:j. Can't count it until it clears but will kick start next month's profit. That's if this sort of refund counts on this challenge.

Right, off to cook our dinner and then back to the eBay listing marathon. My poor old brain aches:eek:. I hope it's been worth it and at least something sells.

    Evening

I've not made any more money this month so I'm going to declare the amount that I mentioned earlier. I can't remember what it was and I've now spent it helping my daughter who's been off ill. Still that's what it's for.

I'm sorry to hear that people have been struggling.

For what it's worth, I stand by these two things:

If it's not making you smile then it's not worth while

It'll be alright in the end and if it's not alright then it's not the end

Evening all - sorry I've been gone a while, few issues that have led to me absence. Stopped posting my MB'ing daily earnings as I felt like it was unwanted, and not really what the purpose of this topic was for, and I'm currently not making any extra money any other way.

Enjoyed my week away as much as possible given the circumstances, got back Sunday gone and straight back into a stressful week at work. Think I'm finally accepting that my marriage is on the rocks after 9 relatively happy years - we've been together 15 years now, half my life!! I've tried everything I can, but I'm at breaking point now, I hoped our week away would do us good, but if anything it just made matters worse. Suggested today that we seek marriage-counselling, but think it fell on deaf ears, I don't think she realises truly how I feel and doesn't think the situation is as serious as I think it is. All in all I'm feeling quite low at the moment.

    Mike. Squidgy hugs to you.

I think most of us can relate to relationship problems. I know I have my share every few years. We been together 20 years.

We had a big row this week upsetting my DS, he told me it was our fault for arguing as his parents. It was actually started by DS going on the computer when I told him not to because of our Internet connection issues.

Mike, is it possible your wife is suffering from PND?

It's difficult juggling a relationship with kids. I never thought it would be but it is.

Try to keep talking. I think the key is to listen to each other. No judging and to really listen. No interrupting. No blaming. Just listening.

I didn't mind reading your moneymaking from MB, nor anyone else's.

My concern was that the thread became solely about MB and that is not every one's cup of tea. There are other ways to make money or extra income and these ideas should be posted.

My main concern about MB is for those who don't understand what they are doing and start to Lose money.

So Mike, chin up. Hope things work out for you.

Please continue posting about your MB earnings and your work tucks hop.
