Indeed. You may get lucky and the bank agree. Whilst you don't have the protection a credit card affords some banks have a very good chargeback policy.0 -

I would suggest that you also contact your bank and request that the cancel your card and issue a new one.
At present, your card details may well be in the hands of scammers and you might find that they take further payments or sell the details on to others.0 -
Out of interest what did you spend £41 on ?
was it a to good to be true price.
guessing it wasnt a fire extinguisher0 -

This is going to sound harsh and I know i'm going to get a lot of stick over this, but here goes.
In these circumstances, I think its a shame the back refund the money as it teaches the consumer nothing.
The first alarm bell would have been the site name - fireextinguisher-safety, yet it does not sell anything related to fire extinguishers!
When you look through, it seems to sell more tat then a car boot sale.
The site looks !!!! and the spelling is awful.
When are consumers going to do their own due dilligence rather then relying on their bank to bail them out.
I just spent £200 on a site called manomano - Was very impressed with the price of the item I wanted. I spent almost an hour reasearching the site before placing my order.
Hopefully the OP will have learnt from this incident.0
