Less than half that from an independent Porsche specialist using genuine parts, including an MOT, looking at my invoice from February. But you don't get the fancy leather sofas to sit on, widescreen TVs to watch and people in suits that won't let you look at your car when it's up on the four post lift because "health and safety" at an indie.

Many main dealers offer a fixed price service, check on line and you will likely see the cost. Add in breakdown cover, tyres, wiper blades, cam belt change, battery, etc. Seat.co.uk list these costs (except tyres), look under owners. The Seat main dealer service includes, home and EU wide breakdown and recovery for 12 months when booked on-line.

No doubt other manufacturers list their fixed prices too.
