but reduces damage from anything falling out of an aeroplane.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
one in passengers footwell, one on passengers seat, two in rear footwells, three across the back seats, two in the boot.... that's make it two trips, but remember this stuff by its very nature is compressible, so they'd all stuff in and go in one trip!
I don't see the problem unless you drive a Lamborghini!!!!

Exactly. I used to drive a nissan micra and pretty sure I could have fitted at least 8 bags in it... probably the lot once it's squashed down!0 -
I Freecycled mine and there was a lot more than you have, although nobody knows how large your 'bags' are. Mine was about 12-14 dumpy bags if I remember right. Two people with tight @rsed landlords took it.
However, I have a big van. They couldn't pick up, so it cost me the diesel.
Here, if I hired a van, the minimum charge at the recycling centre for a load like that would be £100, so that wouldn't be any better than hiring a skip or a big Hippo bag, which is another possibility.0 -
Find a neighbor with a bin that is regularly half full (clue - homes which don't have many people in it!)
Ask permission if you can regularly fill his/her bin till your loft insulation is finished? If he/she is elderly maybe offer to take out their bins too.0 -
2 bags? How big are they? I managed around 14 standard sized refuse sacks in my hatchback (back seats down, squashed as much as I could in (very compressible), shoved some in the passenger footwell and seat).0

Hi all
The better half put them on the local free cycle site and they're all going Tuesday. We have an A4 convertible but the front seats do not go forward, and the bags we used were huge, but all sorted now0 -
I've been putting stuff on Freebay as I have been clearing my house ready for moving and am surprised what people will take when it's free! I have been trying to minimise what I take to the tip, to stuff that is not re-useable.(Nearly) dunroving0

We've only just started using Freebay/Freecycle too, and feel the same. So far people have taken the old insulation, old suitcases with busted zips, old mirrors with cracked corners - I genuinely think the word 'FREE' means that someone out there will collect it from you0
