And that post was by me and ended with a big cheesy smiley face to show it was tongue on cheek and a joke...
Make the most of the situation. If you can no longer put a car in it, then use it for something else; a hobby opportunity.
For my hubby that would indeed be a motorbike project (we now have a double garage with doors too narrow to park a large car and he has taken advantage of this!).
So many things you can do in a garage! I personally would have a music room.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I used to live in a semi detached bungalow that sounds almost identical to the one the OP is living in.
There was a shared drive leading to a pair of garages and whilst it was possible to get a car in, took a fair bit of manoeuvring because of the angle of them to the drive and once in the garage, it was a bit of a struggle getting out of the car.
It's not a very clear picture but you can see just how narrow the shared drive actually is hence why I think the current owner decided to convert the front garden to a parking area.0 -
I don't know where you live OP, but in terms of proof, if it is part of a sizeable development there may be files in the local archives.
We have a similar arrangement in 1950s built council houses not too far from where I live. It is certainly not uncommon. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
