Am I not entitled to 14 day cooling off period??

I told them that I needed a level 4 accredited course to perform this treatment in my borough. In an email they told me that their course is accepted by ALL local councils (you have to obtain a special treatments license) but I have now found out that it is not and many London boroughs refuse them. Although their course is level 4 it!!!8217;s not accredited by the body that ALL boroughs accept.

I would suggest that OP applies some due diligence to their business, especially if they are to apply treatments to members of the public!

I'm just responding to the points that you seem to think are clear.

I do find it funny how people can be smart enough to be able to argue that a cow is actually a chicken, but somehow miss important things like reading the Ts and Cs.

Good luck OP. I don't think you have a case, but then again I'm just some random internet stranger. In terms of advice, though, I would suggest:

    - Speaking further with your solicitor (this might be optional)
    - Writing a letter before action with the key points, evidence and a proposed resolution
    - If that fails then take them to court armed with said evidence and if you have a case you should end up with a judgement against them.
    - Get the sheriffs in if they refuse to pay.

Doesn't have to be much more complicated than that.
