Anyone else having problems with Ecosse.net/Breathe?

You would be far better not ever using ISP e-mail accounts and changing to ISP independent ones. You could then easily tell Breath where to stick their rubbish service! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

If that means hotmail or yahoo etc then thanks but no thanks.
I like my ecosse.net email and most of the time it works. Its just so disapointing to see what Breathe are doing to what was a brilliant email provider.
If Breathe even had a good customer services team it would help. I phoned today to enquire & was told theyd put a thing up on the breathe site saying ecosse.net was down! Yeah?? No s*** sherlock I know its down... what I want to know is when itll be back :rolleyes:0 -
My mail went down Thursday afternoon/evening. Here is an update I saw on the situation.
The Breathe website homepage now says the following -
<http://support.breatheinternet.com/>
"Ecosse users
There are currently website, POP and webmail issues with ecosse.net email accounts. Users will be currently be unable to access their email. The hosting company have reported a general problem with their servers and this is affecting all their customers including ecosse.
Our technical team are in regular contact with them and we hope to have an update on when they will be bringing back the service as soon as possible.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused."

Same problem here - no access at all, and no information whatsoever to the alternative email account I supplied back in the days of Calico. Very poor show from Breathe.
Mind you, this comes from a company with the ridiculous slogan: "It's amazing what happens when you breathe" ...0 -
Not since Friday have I been able to access www.ecosse.net. Since the Breathenet takeover, there has been no spam filtering, and from what I have seen the amount of spam is so great it is probably killing the system.
I would like to have the ecosse.net domain name, but with this set up its not worth it.0 -
Swallowed pride and called breathe.
They say tonight (14th Jan) the server will be fixed!
Will it?0 -

Probably not. They told me on Thursday to 'Try in the morning' on Friday 'Itll be fixed by Saturday' on Saturday 'Try Monday'0 -
OK: 08:56 15th Jan now - and, you guessed it, mail.ecosse.net does not work! :mad:0

this is a ridiculous length of time for ecosse to be unavailable0
