Huawei P20 Pro & Bose Promo
Options
Hello!
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any success claiming the Bose headphones promised with the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro pre-orders?
I ask as I pre-ordered the device over the phone on 29/03 and paid an early upgrade fee in order to claim the headphones -- I needed new ones and the offer of free headphones worth over £300 was too good to pass up. However my phone arrived with no paperwork and I did not get any emails from Three confirming my order, so now I can't claim the headphones from Huawei. I have contacted Three on their live chat four times and been on the phone four times, and no one has a clue what I'm talking about. The only small success I've had is going to the store, where they couldn't give me any documentation, but the manager did print off all my account notes related to my order for me. I've had to open up a Resolver complaint as as far as I know, advertising free headphones then failing to provide customers with the means to claim them is false advertising, so I thought I would make a post here to see if anyone else is having an issue.

Hi there.
I've sent EVERYTHING to them... 2 invoices, DPD delivery confirmation, pre order confirmation.... I'm STILL seeing my application rejected due to no proof of delivery. The advisor at there end even ADMITTED he could see I had the phone but they would not allow the application to proceed without proof that a p20 pro was delivered! DPD do not KNOW what they are delivering, so I'm stumped too.0 -

How bizarre! I am still waiting on a response from Three. Huawei have rejected my claim as I have no proof of pre-order even though I have shown them my bill paying for an early upgrade and my customer notes from the call where I pre-ordered the phone.0

Hi Guys,
Just to you know I was able to validate my claim (I upgraded with mobiles.co.uk) this was accepted and sent for fulfilment 24/04 . I'm still waiting for them to send me the headphones this is over the 30 day period they said...
I've challenged o2 and mobiles.co.uk to help me challenge Huawei but neither are accepting any liability.
In my opinion both have profited from a promotion one of their suppliers were running so should bare some responsibility in helping their customer claim any offer they were implicit in.
Disgusting really, if you do a google there's 100's of people complaining!0 -
You can always complain to the Advertising Standards Authority if you think a sales promotion has been managed badly.0

My claim was accepted no problem . The day the headphones were supposed to be delivered by I received an email advising there was a delay due to "Due to a higher than anticipated demand". The contact number is a waste of time as it's permanently busy what ever option you select. I tried Huawei who refused to accept it was anything to do with them, ditto EE.
Worried I will not ever see these headphones , surely two big name companies like EE and Huawei can't just rip people off and get away with it ?0 -
This has been a horrible saga. Still not received them. Got notification on Monday that FINALLY they were on their way. Now the courier, DX have lost them. They are saying they have been "misrouted". I go on holiday tomorrow. My colleague whom submitted his claim 7 days after I did has received his, about 3-4 weeks ago.
I want to escalate this as both Huawei and now DX have been useless in response to my queries. I've now wasted time waiting on a delivery that was never ever going to appear, and have nothing to show for it. Ive had anger and frustration build over this. It was one of the deciding factors in picking this phone. Any thoughts?
Oh, and hi, everybody0 -
Hi All,
Just letting you finally got mine as well, Hope you all got yours as well0 -
Another week over. Still not arrived. Still saying they have an issue on the tracker. Still no-one at Huawei has done anything about it. Still no real information. Now suspicions are being raised as to what has happened in the courier. I was supposed to receive it last Tuesday 5th June, 10 days ago.0
