Get the EDF app and you can enter readings when you want, check balances etc. I have had them trying to reduce my DD as well as increase it, but the app allows you to adjust it back again, and not had any issues. I've been with them 4 years now, and our usage is pretty steady so I usually know what the cost is going to be for the year. I try and void submitting readings during the summer and during the winter, as it tends to skew their estimates. I'll put my next meter reading in around early March to avoid them trying to up the DD due to the winter spike.

Thanks. Yeah I have the app, and now recall I used the Adjust DD feature back in August and it worked well.

Not submitting readings was my plan too, but they requested one and I looked to be so far ahead in credit, I may as well let them sort it.

I did not expect an increase and refund at the same time though!

I do wonder if they like to reset things this time of year, maybe its now past end of their financial year?
Or maybe because prices are rising
