Came home from work today to find a very frightening letter from Tesco Bank saying I was in arrears due to not paying my last 2 months credit card bills. In fact I have paid all my credit card balances the day my statement has been produced.
I phoned up and was told this was an error. They gave a quick apology and said there has been a glitch in their systems where these letters were sent out in error.
I'm absolutely fuming as I was stressed about this thinking my payments had gone missing.
Just wanted Tesco credit card customers to know that they may receive these letters in error.

A polite letter asking them for £25 for shock and worry is in order. Keep it short and to the point.0

It's bang out of order. I was thinking it was my banks error.0

            I don't see the problem.
You got a letter you thought was wrong. You phoned them up and they said sorry it was a mistake.
Isn't that enough? Why are you "fuming"? Why is "bang out of order"?0

            Oh my.
There's no need to ask for compensation as it's not required - you have not suffered any financial loss due to this.
 Let it go...0

Your payment is wid de angles now with Princes DI and Jayde GoodeeSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness: People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet. 0
