TSB Mortgage Applictaion Experience

Hi All,
Looking for some advice on TSB mortgage timescale, myself and my long-term girlfriend are first time buyers. We when through a broker, the application was made on the 28/03, since then we have had multiple request for documentation which we have provided, I believe we have now provided all the required documentation but haven’t heard anything in a week. It’s a new build property and we should have exchange contracts on the start of this week but obviously that has not happened.
I keep chasing the broker and the broker chasing TSB but not getting any response.
Has anyone had any recent experience with TSB mortgage application?

We applied with TSB on 26/2.
We are still waiting to get our mortgage offer 8 weeks later.
Before they updated their banking system they upgraded their mortgage application and it has had massive teething problems.
I would recommend you stay on top of your MA on your app and badger them often.
Hopefully your experience will be better than ours.
Good luck.0 -
Well spoke to the broker yesterday seems like i have wastes a month with TSB they are beyond useless. They keep asking for documents we already provided, the broker has to keep reminding them we have, they made a mistake with my address, we pointed this out two weeks ago, they still havent changed this. So now we decided to start looking at a different provider no way we are continuing with TSB as I could be waiting for another 4 weeks with no progressWe applied with TSB on 26/2.

Well experience hasn’t been any better, after six days and broker waiting on the phone for almost 30 minutes they came back to ask a question they ask over 6 days ago. I feel they are either incompetent or overworked and I believe it’s the former.0
