Professional Aerial Photos - Drone?

Hi all,
I'm selling my house and wanted to get some aerial shots of my property. My estate agent Mark, says he knows someone that can do it for me and it'll cost £200. Now that sounds good to me. But I asked about if the person had a drone license and insurance, as my after speaking to my neighbours they had concerns. And apparently, he's allowed to do it as a 'hobbyist' and doesn't require insurance.
Would you just do it? Find a legit operator?
Thanks,
Clive

How does he equate "not flying commercially" with "charging you £200"? He doesn't sound like a hobbyist. But the licence and insurance are legal requirements for him rather than you. Not sure it's that much of a risk, how much harm can a lightweight drone cause?0

"... how much harm can a lightweight drone cause?"
Potentially catastrophic!

My cousin has a drone as a hobby and he won't touch anything paid as he doesn't want to get into trouble. According to him, if you engage someone who isn't licensed then you too are liable for prosecution. Surely it's not worth the risk? Pay a bit more and find a proper company.0

...which would make for a p!ss poor aerial shot of a house, unless it came with a huuuuuuuuge amount of land.
Dunno what the price difference between a bloke with a DJI Mavic Pro boy-toy and a pro-outfit is, but I'd be seriously questioning the value added by any sort of drone photos whatsoever - other than "because I can", what reason do you have for wanting these sort of photos?0 -
Do you have lots of land with your property or something?
Is there a way of adding a google aerial shot as well as a map and streetview? Can't say I've ever noticed a tab or anything, but there may be an option.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -

It's quite a big detached house, and we have a pool in the back. Just want to show it off really. I've seen some amazing drone photos for houses and I think it really helps to sell them. Well, did for me.0
