Plusnet Cashback and Broadband Genie voucher?

I signed up with Plusnet in Feb using MSE website.
I signed up for the £50 plusnet cashback on Fibre Broadband offer.
When I clicked the link it opened a Broadband Genie page offering a £50 Amazon Voucher. It stated this was in addition to any offers by Plusnet, so I thought I'll have a £50 voucher and the £50 cashback.
I never received an email from plusnet, nor anything from broadband genie.
I queried this with Plusnet on the phone, and the agent says that they would only offer 1 cashback offer. I made my case that it stated no plusnet offers would be affected, and she said that refers to broadband offers not cashback offers.
I haven't spoken to Broadband Genie.
Should I be getting the 2 offers? Should MSE link have taken me to broadband genie when there was a plusnet cashback offer, and it was using the cashback offer to calculate and compare prices to other providers?
I don't have a copy of the page that opened, but I have a confirmation email from broadband genie, which includes the statement this will not affect any offers from plusnet
Also as I signed up a few minutes before the cutoff plusnet are saying I signed up 1 min after midnight on 7th Feb, when I managed to get it completed a few mins before 12 on the 6th Feb, so they are investigating that.

Plusnet quite often only honour one offer or another. Have you received either yet?
It sounds like the offer was through Broadband Genie rather than an MSE obtained offer, and MSE simply linked to the site.0 -
I haven't received either. I have a question open with them, and have sent them the confirmation email from Broadband Genie.
Broadband Genie email is timed at 23:54 06/02/2018
Plusnet emails saying welcome and you have set up a Direct Debit and you made a payment are all timed at 00:00 07/02/2018.
They said that my payment was received a 1 minute past the cutoff, but then opened the question when I said I have the genie email before midnight.
As far as I'm concerned If I receive an email from them at 00:00, I must have completed before, and I remember I did, at 23:58.
I think they are trying to say because I used an affiliate link it has to go through them, but I missed the deadline (even though I didn't) so I won't get the genie amazon voucher. But even though I'm not eligible for the genie offer, I won't get the cashback offer either because I used the affiliate link, even if it was no longer valid.
The wording on the genie webpage and the email is a bit misleading then, saying in addition to plusnet offers, as I wouldn't have chosen an amazon voucher over cashback.
Some dodgy goings on.0
