Asbestos garage roof

I don't know for certain, but I suspect my garage roof is asbestos, as is my neighbours on either side.
As I understand it, it's not a problem, as long as you don't disturb it - i.e. drilling holes is not a good idea!
So, I have no plans to do anything with it.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Similarly, the Health & Safety Executive publish details of how individuals should dispose of asbestos-content roofing sheets, the condition of which is key to the amount of danger they pose.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the condition of these sheets doesn't seem to have been mentioned.0 -
Depends what you agreed with the previous owner? If you've purchased them without explicitly stating you don't want the roof prior, they're yours to dispose of.
I certainly wouldn't be very happy if someone came to take it away and left me the dangerous & expensive part to dispose of.0
