Have an O2 contract and used to dial 0870 ..... to call Australia.

Now as they've withdrawn this number - what would be the best bet to call Australia?

"You can use the airtime in your monthly package to make calls and send messages from within the UK to any UK mobile network and landline (numbers beginning 01 and 02). Calls to call forwarding services are not included (e.g. numbers beginning 07744 and 07755)."

  • I bought a £5 Uk and international phone card from the Post Office and for the month of November you get unlimited calls to Australia for just 15p on Sundays.

there is a 0800 or 020 number you use and I assume that 0207 should come out of your inclusive minutes?

Downside is that you can only call Australia on a Sunday.

Plus side - countries change every month and you get free calls to certain countries every month.
