Well on the 2nd Jan we had a new family member arrive and she's a............Springer Spaniel:D .
Her name is Bella and she is approx 11 weeks old now.
She gets her 2nd jab tomorrow and is also being microchipped as well.
We are counting the days till we can take her out.
We found her on the net and in the end the place we got her from was well 'dodgy' (mum wasn't there, she was riddled with fleas) but we couldn't leave her once we saw her.
We took her straight to the vets and the vet said she was fine which was a relief.Fleas were gone in 2 days and she has been wormed twice now and all is well.
Toilet training is going very well and she is fine with her crate at night.
She has blended in very well with our family and its as if she has always been with us.
My autistic son thinks she is fantastic and is being very good with her.
Sadly my dad passed away on Dec 20th and getting Bella has been very good for me as she is keeping me occupied which i need right now.
I haven't a clue how to post a pic but she is liver and white and a real cutie.
Awww You are so lucky.....I remember when our Millie was that old....and how adorable she was too....still is!I had always had Labs before.....grew up with one...and had a couple when my kids were younger.....but once I got my Springer, I wondered why I never knew about them before!! There is just something so.....FAB about them that a Lab just didnt seem to have....and I cant tell you what that is. :-))Anyway....I do hope you enjoy her. MY Grand daughter says that Millie is her "best friend". I do hope your children say the same :-))0
