Has anyone ever had issues with Vodafone and DPD delivering their new phone? Mine has been out for delivery all day, it was supposed to be delivered between 9.48 and 10.48 but the tracking though hasn't moved since about 9.30. I've phoned Vodafone who have in turn called DPD who say their driver is not answering his phone and they can't explain why driver hasn't moved all day.

Vodafone are going to get back to me later to see if it has arrived, but I wonder if this is usual for DPD or whether I should be seriously concerned for the whereabouts of the driver who has been sitting in the same road now for several hours without moving (according to the tracking page)

Not specifically Vodafone, but I've had plenty of DPD deliveries and have never had that happen.

DPD are usually Ok for me as well, I've had a few late ones, but not by much. The tracking still shows driver in the same place he's been all day.

Have a number of DPD drops, never had anything but the best from them and always within the time they give.

DPD are my preferred delivery agents, I get a text with an hour slot, then on the rare occasion I'm not in, I get a link to a photo from the driver to show he was at my house.

My text said delivery between 9.48 am and 10.48 am , hence being a bit concerned about driver!

I had a recent DPD delivery that didn't go as planned. Got the email to say it'd be delivered on the 18th and that I'd get a text with a hour time slot for delivery after 11am on the day.

18th came and went with nothing, tracking on DPD website only updated to show it had arrived at the local depot that morning. Nothing further from them until the next day I went out for about half an hour, and got a text to say the item had been delivered to a neigbhour. So I was just fortunate my neighbour was in. Previously I've had a few deliveries with them that were trouble free.

I've just had another text, this one says my DPD item from Vodafone will be with me by 22.00 today and that I need to be in to sign for it as it cannot be left.

Tracking still hasn't moved, driver is apparently still around 3 miles away from my address, as he has been all day.

If the driver is still alive :p I would guess he/she has had an equipment failure of some sort.

I just phoned Vodafone again to confirm that phone is definitely coming as I was supposed to go out tonight and was concerned that if I stayed in waiting for the parcel and it didn't arrive then I'll miss my evening out for nothing.

Vodafone called DPD who still can't find the driver but have confirmed that they only deliver until 6pm and don't believe my item will be arriving today at all and have said they will try again tomorrow.

So another day off beckons sitting in waiting for my phone- even though no one at all knows where it is.
