have lost track of times absent minded OH comes home without his mobile phone. Despite it being clearly labelled with our contact details and request to contact him if found, no one ever does. Then he has to ring round his usual haunts and find where he left it. then go and collection it.
It would be really useful to attach a transponder to it. ( It can only be a matter of time before he loses it for good). As it is a Samsung Galaxy 7 with has all his contacts on it , and a business plan contract, would like to avoid that if possible. Can anyone suggest suitable transponders.

Why a transponder? Why not use the built in Google "find my phone" feature?0

Parents attach string to their little kids mittens so the kids don't lose them.
Do something similar to his phone.0 -
It would be far too easy to use the built in tools.TadleyBaggie wrote: »Why a transponder? Why not use the built in Google "find my phone" feature?0 -
As above, Finding a Samsung/Android phone is easy and has built in tools for such occassions.
That said, best solution for people who constantly loose their phone, is to take it off them. Obviously the responsibility is far too much....;)Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

what are the Samsung tools for tracking it?
TBH if you have not lived with somebody absent minded you do not know what it is like. It's as if part of their short term memory is defective.. Constructive suggestions would be appreciated.0 -

Perhaps we've discovered who the person referred to actually is...littlerock wrote: »

Why so rude? I have no idea what the "built in Google options" on his phone are as it is his phone and I do not use it. He is not technical and only uses it for basic stuff. I did ask him if he had any built in finding options and he just looked blank.
This is the techies column so obviously you are all clued up here but not everyone is and some people, OH and me, are not and I came here looking for helpful advice not snarky remarks.0
