Vendor insists on selling her furniture

Many thanks everyone, just texted her and thanked her for the offer but explained that I am not interested. Hopefully, she won't be insisting further. If she does, I will liaise with the EA.
Lesson learnt: shouldn't have exchanged numbers...0 -
You could use it as leverage to push for a quicker exchange?
e.g. you could say we will agree to pay £500 provided you get back to your solicitor with all outstanding documents by tomorrow and instruct your solicitors to exchange by xxx date?
£500-600 is not a massive amount of money in the context of the price of the property.0 -
I wouldn't pay extra for furniture I didn't want. I'd just politely say "No thanks, I have my own" and leave it at that.0

One person's treasure is another's trash. What part of "vacant possession" do they not understand?0

I just wanted to add ... The seller might not have sent in the forms back to solicitor because the fixtures and fittings forms are part of these. Once the seller has it clear that you aren't buying the items they will probably fill in the form to reflect this decision.0

Property to be sold separately from the house price can be added separately from the fixtures and fittings form.(Nearly) dunroving0

...After rejecting request after request to purchase them he finally snapped in a meeting and replied calmly (with a phrase which is now in common use around our office) of "Look, for the last time, the blinds are a f****** non-starter, OK!" The seller replied with"OK, but you won't call my bluff so we'll be taking them all down". He replied, "Great, saves me a job doing it when we move in".
...
We had something similar with our first house.
She kept trying to 'sell' things to us and in the end we took the "it's a pile of crap route" too.
When she carried on we then insisted that as she had been trying to sell us the cooker and carpets and as we didn't want them she had to take them with her, or we would not exchange. She was desperate to sell whereas we were happy to find another house if need be.
And yes she did remove the items from the house before we moved in
