Update. Interim payment agreed, with a waiver having to be signed as it's against soilictor's advice. The portion for the refuser placed in a separate account pending counsel's advice and the paying of into the court (which the solicitor has assured them will be granted as they 100% against doing anything further for him so don't wish it to sit at the solicitors any longer than is needed).

Counsel advice back. Paying into the court is best way to proceed and shouldn't be any problems.

But selling the house is now a nightmare- few offers despite being on sale for 7 months and now their are convinced the estate agent makes up whatever offers they are and fakes viewings. They dont trust that property market is bad at the moment and think that is a scare story.

The number one reason a property will not sell is that is overpriced for the market. A frequent problem is that the seller just will not reduce the price.

Easy to check if the price is right by looking at what is selling, 7 months there will be loads of data.

Another day - another sign of a viewing but of course its just as fake from the estate agency to cover up their incompetence. Driving me mad.
