I think either RTB should be stopped completely (preferably or purchasers should be refused the ability to sell on for 10 years. That will put off the people who are hoping for a relatively quick turn around. I think lol. Wish there could be a referendum on this.0

Or to rent it out for 10 years. Ensure only bona fide owner occupiers can benefit from RTB.
In the event of bereavement the property should revert to the council, who would pay the deceased's estate a realistic sum for it.

Here, which private individuals do you think it refers to if not LLs?It's simply a wealth transfer from the state to private individuals, and it's a colossal state subsidy of the private mortgage industry. There is no other country that does this.0 -

Well no it doesn't, because Labour left a lot of things much better than they found them.
Tories and Labour share blame for the current housing crisis, yes, but the Tories aren't going to be the ones who fix it, and the damage they have done in other areas is off the scale.0 -
Like I said, I'm not partisan. The Blair years have a lot more to do with our current situation than the current government, in my non-partisan opinion. The Tories could be doing a better job of dealing with the situation but Blair and Brown created it.(Nearly) dunroving0
