Dear Mr ..... Re: Parking Charge Notice Number ...... Site: Centertainment Sheffield Issue date: 22/03/2018 Thank you for your appeal received on 27/03/2018 regarding the above detailed Parking Charge Notice. We have reviewed the case and considered the comments that you have made. This appeal has been considered in conjunction with the evidence gathered by the parking attendant. Our records show that the notice was correctly issued as your vehicle was parked in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Parking. We are therefore unable to cancel the Parking Charge Notice as it was issued correctly. We have now extended the discounted payment period by 14 days to allow you time to pay the discounted settlement amount. Please now make payment of £60 to reach us by 02/05/2018 or £100 to reach us by 16/05/2018. We must advise you that once the discounted settlement rate passes it will not be offered again. Vehicles parking at the above location must be parked within a correctly marked bay; there are numerous signs at the car park which state that vehicles should only be parked where a marked bay is present and must not be parked on, over, out of the lines forming a marked bay or in a bay marked for a specific vehicle type i.e. Ambulance, Police, Coach etc. Parking out of marked bays can cause obstruction, inconvenience and safety hazards to other users of the car park. By parking the vehicle out of a marked bay the driver contractually agrees to pay a parking charge of £100 (reduced to £60 for early settlement if paid with 14 days from the day of original ticket issue), which remains unpaid. As your appeal has now been rejected you may now: 1 Pay the Parking Charge Notice within 14 days. Please note that after this time any discounted rate, which may have existed, will not be applicable and the Parking Charge Notice will be 100GBP. Payments can be made by cheque or postal order made payable to UKCPS LTD. Please ensure you write your Parking Charge Notice number clearly on the reverse. Please do not send cash through the post. Payment can be made using a debit or credit card online at ukcps or by calling the automated payment line on 03330230121. 2 If you believe this decision is incorrect, you are entitled to appeal to the Independent Appeals Service (IAS). In order to appeal the IAS will need your parking charge number, your vehicle registration and the date the charge was originally issued. Appeals must be submitted to the IAS within 21 days of the date of this letter. Please or full details. Please note if you make an appeal to the IAS then the discounted rate is no longer available. The Independent Appeals Service ( provides an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme for disputes of this type. As you have complied with our internal appeals procedure you may use, and we will engage with, the IAS Standard Appeals Service providing you lodge an appeal to them within 21 days of this rejection. 3 If you choose to do nothing, we will seek to recover the monies owed to us via our debt recovery procedures and may proceed with Court action against you. UKCPS Ltd will not enter into any further correspondence unless through the IAS appeal system detailed above. UKCPS can only address the factual issues of where and how you parked. We will not enter into discussions about the legality of parking on private land or of the landowners right to impose parking conditions on their property. We will only answer points relevant to the specific parking event all other points you may have made are irrelevant to the appeal. UKCPS Ltd provide national car parking solutions. Our ICO registration number is Z968298X and we have electronic access to the DVLA database of Registered Keepers. We are accredited AOS operators with our ATA (Approved Trade Association). Regards, UKCPS Appeals Department

IGNORE them for 6 years unless they try a court claim using MCOL
come back if you receive a formal LBC in the post , or an MCOL from Northampton CCBC in the post
meanwhile , study the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, third thread down from the top of this forum
meanwhile , IGNORE any debt collector letters0 -
what should i now do i pay or not ?
We don't need to see endless computerised rejection letters, as if it's new or specific to your case. That's a template and happens every time. To be expected.

IPC firms are all the same and I would not have used a UKCPS car park in the first place. Luckily they are not as hugely litigious as some, and these cases are defendable and winnable.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are taking this too seriously, it is a speculativr invoice for an alleged breach of contract, you only need to pay them if a County Court Judge so directs, but, as most judges are aware that this is a scam. that is not very likely.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

A Lie
This appeal has been considered in conjunction with the evidence gathered by the parking attendant.
A lie.
We are therefore unable to cancel the Parking Charge Notice.
A lie.
They are greedy scammers that are only interested in getting your money, if you give in to their bullying you will just be supporting their tactics.0 -

Yesterday I found an invoice on my windshield that I parked outside the lines (on half empty parking) from UKCPS - could you please tell me what to do? I read the FAQ but I don't know if I had to wait for formal letter or send appeal straight away.
Many thanks0 -
