Board Guide wanted for this board

Update 6 November

Thank you very much to everyone that's volunteered. It was a really difficult decision.

Kipper has agreed to give it a go. She's going to join divadee and heather for a month to see how she gets on. We'll keep a note of all who volunteered and if kipper feels at the end of that time that she doesn't want to continue then we'll let you know.

Thanks everyone

Andrea :)

Hi everyone

As the Comps board's getting quite a bit busier nowadays we're looking for someone new to join divadee and heather as a BG on this board.

Several people have already kindly volunteered and those are being taken into account but it's only fair that everyone on here knows we want a new BG and has the chance to put their name forward.

A couple of points about BG'ing before you come rushing forward :)

The role is a volunteer one and ideally we'd like someone that's around on the boards at least every couple of days (of course we'll let you go on holiday if you want to though :p ).

We generally ask BGs to cover at least two boards each, three if they feel they have the time so we're more likely to pick someone that will be happy to do that.

Remember you'll be a board guide, not a moderator, ie you'll have the same abilities as other forum users except you'll be able to merge and move threads etc. Board Guides are not part of the forum team and don't have the final say on what stays and what goes. If there's an abuse issue you'll need to report it to the forum team just like any other forum user.

OK, now you've read that lot, if you feel you'd like to volunteer then please do.

Thanks

Andrea :)

I would like to also volunteer to be a Board Guide & help out on - you are so right it is getting busier & this will only increase as it was in Martin's email again today & people soon realise that another way to pay off debts is to sell unwanted comp prizes! :)

Thanks for the nomination wokkies!
Even though I am here most of the day :o, as my youngest gets older she is taking up more of my [STRIKE]comping[/STRIKE] time so I wouldn't be able to do it really. Its good that people have volunteered themselves so good luck to whoever is picked!

    NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT! :D
