How to log in to Nationwide Online Banking for the first time?

Hello,
Does anyone have experience with Nationwide online banking?
I applied for a Nationwide Flex Account and was accepted 2 weeks ago. I have since received my card, pin and a "welcome to digital banking" letter that includes my customer number and pass number.
With all this information, I cant figure out how to actually log in. When I try to log in it asks me for memorable data (I've never set any) or to use a card reader (which I don't have). The letter says I can choose memorable data when I log in for the first time. I tried to register and it says I already registered 5-7 days ago. Am I missing something?

This happened to me a few months ago, the letter text is incorrect. You do need the card reader to register for the first time, not just the memorable data. You can use a card reader from another bank in the mean time before your nationwide one is delivered.0

I'm going to guess that the first time you log in you have to use a card reader, do you have one yet? [I'm guessing because when I first logged in it was long before card readers even existed]0

Thanks for the quick replies. I don't have a card reader, my main bank doesn't use one. I guess I'll just have to wait for it, any idea how long delivery takes? I haven't received any information about getting one.0

I'm in a similar position Ron. I applied on 9th April, my account was opened on 11th April and I received my debit card and PIN at the weekend. However, I haven't received a "Welcome to Internet Banking" letter and I believe I need the pass number from it in order to register.0

Could you explain how? When I press log in it gives two options:
Log in using my card reader
Log in using my memorable data
If I select memorable data, it asks me to enter it not set it.0
