Evening all ( Dixon style
)
I'm in the late posting club again. I promise to do my 100 lines, honest :rotfl:.
It has been a beautiful day, so this morning we went to town, as I needed some replacement ankle boots. My old ones were about 4yrs old and had split right across the sole, but they were soooo comfortable that I wanted another pair. Anyway I couldn't find any boots but I did buy some nice shoes instead and Mr Fix It had a pair of trainers. While we were in town we had two more front door keys cut and I bought a new book in the wor*s. The coffee shop was quite busy but we managed to get a table, then went on to Mata*an where I bought myself a new "going out " top in the sale.
Lunch time we had a call from Joan, sobbing. She believed that a woman was moving in to her house. Mr Fix It told her he would keep watch but we noticed later that the police had arrived. They stayed with her for about an hour. She seems to be getting worse.
This afternoon I have replaced another set of curtains and tried to do more dusting/ cleaning. I have found red house brick dust in some peculiar places :eek:. I also washed some of the dust sheets and line dried them :T. The sun was so warm we even had all the windows open and the patio doors.
We need to get back to home cooking, the chemicals in the ready meals have not done my tummy any favours. So tonight we had HM chicken fajitas for tea followed by the last of the chocolate cake and tomorrow we will get back on the diet wagon.
Cranky well done on your weight loss, you have inspired me to start again.
TA nearly there.
Gers I hope the new car works out for you.
MrsSD well done to you and yours for getting stuck in and keeping going. Glad the hand is better.
Holly enjoy the nice weather and have an ice cream for me( back on the diet so not allowed
)
Take care and hugs to all.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Had to leave around lunch time to do volunteer work at the library after a brunch of a sausage sandwich. Went to slimming club this evening to found I had lost four pounds in the last two weeks and got my first award for losing seven pounds. It has taken me nearly three months to lose eight and a half pounds but I am hoping the better weather and doing more walks will help.
While I was away a baby pushchair for six months and over which will fit the carrycot I just bought has been delivered. I found a new system for about a quarter of the price so very pleased as it means dd and sil do not have to bring their travel system every time they visit or I babysit..
Holly
Great minds think alike! I just bought some salmon fillets to have for tomorrow along with some raspberries and yoghurt.
Hugs to all0 -
Good evening chums, have felt quite poorly over the past two days I have lymphodema in my right arm, and on Sunday I had a small cut on my right arm ,by yesterday afternoon my arm had ballooned to three times its size and was pillar box red as though it was badly burned I only get a flare up about once a year luckily and I keep anti-bios in the cupboard for such an occasion ,So I am all drugged up with the blooming things and feel like I hae a bad dose of flu. Fingers crossed(although I can't at the moment ) that it will soon reduce the inflammation.
I shall return when I am feeling a bit better
Cheers chums
