Ok this is the account i had to make for my solicitors, excuse the grammar, spelling and lack of being able to word things properly, i'm no expert and didnt finish school.
I took the first exit off CRAWLEY AVENUE / A23., onto HORSHAM ROAD / A2220 i was travelling in the right hand land when all of a sudden i felt a small shunt from behind, i looked in my rear view mirror so see the red/maroon citroen C4 behind me.
The driver of the citroen C4 then proceeded to move over into the left hand lane to try and undertake me, as there was another vehicle in the left hand lane there was no room for the citroen C4 to move over into the right hand lane, he tried anyway and clipped the front passenger side of my car, forcing my car into the kerb/grass verge on my left.
This slowed me right down and enabled the driver of the citroen C4 to undertake me and move into the right hand lane in front of me, where he proceeded to slam on his breaks, stop his car causing my car to hit his rear end.
The driver then got out of his vehicle and proceeded to come over whacking my windscreen and shouting abuse at me, saying i couldn't drive, i immediately phoned 999.
I told the driver i had called the police, he then got back into his car, i had to phone my work as i was on the way there at the time, whilst i was on the phone to them he came up to my car again and was hitting the windscreen demanding i call the 'law' (which i had already done) i was screaming telling him to leave me alone and wait for the police.
I was too scared to get out of the car and waited until the police came to sort out details.
The police arrived and basically advised me that it had to be dealt with by our insurance company's, asked me to provide my details, which i did, and got the other drivers insurance details.
I explained to the police that i think i cut him up by accident on the previous road and that's why he followed me, they said even so he shouldn't of done what he done.
The police man then said to me that they would have a word with him about his behaviour.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
That's more like the original story I remember....not quite the same! Could you have possibly 'cut him up' by being careless? Do you have any idea what he had to do to avoid hitting you? Is it possible he or any of his passengers could be suffering from whiplash or any other injuries because of your carelessness. Could you have clipped him slightly & not realised & perhaps he's had to follow you to get you to stop? Sounds like your carelessness was the start of the problem....take the 50/50 while you can.0

Did you tell the same story in all 3 - 1,000,000 threads....was there anything leading up to this 'accident' that you've mentioned in other threads & not this one?
whats with the 'accident' ?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

No i didnt clip him, and he hasnt said so in his version so it must be true. and so you propose that following someone onto a completely different road and ramming their car for making a driving mistake whcih resulted in no accident is acceptable? How many people have cut you up or done something silly when you are driving, do you chase and ram all of them?
Not even the police did.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

I wonder why?astonsmummy wrote: »....Not even the police did.
What?
Answer this question....
Were you guilty of careless driving in 'cutting him up':- Y/N0 -
police didnt think it was acceptable behaviour to follow me and ram into me, i told them i cut him up.
What is your problem, i cut him up on one road, i left said road via the roundabout before he did, he then proceeded to follow me, ram into my car twice, undertake me, pull in front, stop causing me to go into him, if you beleive that my 'careless' actions warrant that behaviour then i'm done here.
Lets just hope that you never make a mistake and then be the subject to what i was, people have been murdered over stuff like this, did they deserve to die?
And for the record The 3rd party hasnt even mentioned me cutting him up on the previous road.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Have the police charged anyone?0

So they took your word for that without independant proof....I'd be surprised if that was the case?astonsmummy wrote: »i told them i cut him up.
You admitted to careless driving...?astonsmummy wrote: »Lets just hope that you never make a mistake and then be the subject to what i was, people have been murdered over stuff like this, did they deserve to die?
Oh dear...take the 50/50 money while you can.....as sorry you are not credible.0
