Any time someone uses the "you must read the daily mail" line, they instantly lose an argument as they have no valid points and just fall back on the childish soundbite that works on their shallow minded minions in the office.

with stoke on this one, the police, for what ever reason, are predominantly lazy, any effort involved usually means giving up until someone from the public offers them the answer.

i also have multiple members of the police force in my family who will state the same thing.. its its too much effort, its a dead end.

One of my friends is a policeman. When they're newly qualified they have to move around different stations apparently.

One he moved to, they were so lazy they wouldn't do anything. E.g. they'd never admit to being close to a call unless they really couldn't avoid it.

It was a small station and he made himself unpopular by pushing back to the point that he was told to wind his neck in and stop saying they were available to do things, and to stop going out patrolling and finding things they had to help him with.

To prove the point they then stopped answering his backup calls. Just imagine what that would be like.

Even if it was only once, it is unjustifiable.

You clearly dont like the justifiable reputation the police are getting, however it doesn't mean it isn't true just because you dont like it.
