Advertising a new business

Local Newspapersomeone bumped a thread from 3 months ago....think he's up and running now
Probably at the suicidal stage now due to
- unrealistic demands of home users
- the 24x7 support they expect for free when you've been on a call out to them once
- the 'you fixed my broadband a month ago and now my computer is running slow and its YOUR fault' phonecalls
- the expectation to work for £5 an hour
and if hes really unlucky, he'll have been stung by yell.co.uk for a £600 advert that so far will probably have yeilded about two phone calls.
:rolleyes:0 -
Have a signwriter put some vinyl lettering on your vehicle.
You don't need a large van - just some lettering on the rear quarters (the glass area that looks into your boot),or a few lines across the rear windscreen would suffice.
If you don't care about the paintwork then you can let them go to town on the boot / doors, etc.
Every time you go on a delivery, or see a customer, or go to the shops you are advertising your business or services.
This is the best form of advertising because it's cheap and is always working for you.
Don't buy the letters from ebay though to fit yourself - a bad fitting job will make you look amatuerish...not the image you want to project.
And yes, I'm a signwriter before anyone asks...;)0
